OUR MINISTRIES BOARD has had a makeover & is now titled “Connect with Calvary”! It is the board located just South of Pastor Kurt’s office. Be sure to check it out & feel free to add to it!

POP MACHINE in the basement has been fixed! Thank you to the group effort from Jim Snell, Glenda Funk, & Eric Pitt for getting it cleared of Styrofoam. All funds from the pop machine go to Calvary’s youth fund.

BEYOND THE BUDGET OPPORTUNITIES: *Calvary’s parking lot will be resealed in August! The total cost is $4255; we have $3000 towards this expense leaving a balance of $1255. Please keep this opportunity in prayer and consider if God may call you to contribute! *Down Pour 2017 EnCourage Youth will be attending this event Aug 19th & 20th. The event is free to attend, but EnCourage Youth will be raising money to help cover the cost of gas, food, & hotel rooms. We estimate the cost will be $1480 (we have received $1006 so far); leaving a balance of $474. If you would like to donate towards this event or would like more information please contact Jason, Alyssa, or the church office. The cost is approx. $825. Pray for God’s provision. *Song Select Renewal: We need to renew our subscription to CCLI’s Song Select service in Sept. for $149. LCMC ANNUAL GATHERING is Oct. 8-11, in downtown Minneapolis, MN. The theme of this year’s gathering is “We Confess Our Faith”. This year we also celebrate the 500th anniversary of the nailing of the 95 theses of Martin Luther to the church door in Wittenberg, the beginning of the Reformation. The cost to attend is $225 per person (before 9/1; $250 between 9/2-9/25; $275 after 9/25, or $325 at the door.) this includes dinner & dessert Sun./ lunch Mon. & Tues. It is $30 more for Monday Night Fellowship Dinner. This year’s event will again include a service project, vendors, great worship opportunities, breakout sessions, and the documentary commissioned by Thrivent: Martin Luther, The Idea That Changed the World.
